Birth Doula

One of the many services offered by our experienced Doulas is making sure the families we work with are thoroughly educated about the birthing  journey. We combine support, education and advocacy so as to facilitate a truly informed birth experience.

We offer private, in-home Childbirth Education services for expectant parents looking to broaden their understanding of the birthing process from careproviders who themselves, have walked the road before them. We make ourselves available, show up and commit. We are by your side to listen to and uphold your unique preferences so as best provide guidance navigating along this amazing experience. We walk you through the process, explain what you need to know and support you as you create a wellspring of practice based evidence to draw from.

If you are looking for a little more help with your newborn, our overnight Doula service may be a good choice for you. We stay with families overnight to make sure they are supported as they, "learn the ropes" of nightime parenting. We will assist with feeding, help you recognize your baby's cues, make recommendations about sleeping and keep you better informed about how your newborn is doing. Our overnight service allows parents to come to a better understand how best to care for their babies and help you get some well earned rest while you know that your infant is in expert hands.

New parents need all the help they can get. Despite all the information out there on pregnancy, labor, birth and parenting, nothing beats having the help of a skilled provider who has been through the same transformational experience.
